History
The Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies, Thammasat University, was founded in 1969 by Professor Dr. Puey Ungphakorn under the name of the Volunteer Graduate School . The objective is to provide opportunities for graduates from various universities to experience living and working in remote areas, amidst different societies and cultures, in order to produce graduates who are knowledgeable and leaders of social change. Currently, there are more than 1,500 volunteer graduates working in leading organizations in both the public and private sectors, and many famous alumni are working in various sectors both domestically and internationally.


In 2015, Professor Dr. Puey Ungphakorn Founder of the Volunteer Graduate School Recognized as an important person in the world by the Education Organization Science and Culture of the United Nations (UNESCO), which is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Professor Dr. Puey Ungphakorn and on that agenda. Office of Volunteer Graduates It was upgraded to college status in 2015.
